I don't know what it is about North Carolina, but I've had a killer headache everyday that I've been here. We've yet to see the sun. I forgot my migraine meds, so I'm taking OTC sinus headache stuff. It seems to help some.
Leaving Fayetteville about 1:00 (hopefully) connecting through Charlotte, then on to Atlanta. If all goes well, it will still be almost 8:00PM before I get back to Auburn. Flying all commuter planes, so you never know. Looks like no bad weather, so maybe we'll luck out.

As long as you're not on ComAir you should be fine.

I bet the Fayetteville-CLT flight is 20 minutes.
Have fun! Find the CLT rocking chairs and set a spell.

Ha!

I was scrolling thru pretty fast and had to hit reverse to make sure Bob didn't say
Conair. I wondered if there might be some history there I didn't know about.

That would be worse.

Thirteen hours.....that's how long it took me to get home from Fayetteville,NC to Auburn, AL. I could have flown in from Madrid, Spain in less time.
The quick hop from Fayetteville to Charlotte was fine. Had a bit over 2 hour layover there. Flight to leave at 4:05PM for Atlanta. At 4:05 PM US Air announces the flight is cancelled due to a crew problem and we are being rebooked on the 7:45PM flight to Atlanta.
Of course, we all had to get in a long line to get rebooked. Natalie and I chose to take the Delta flight that left at 6:00PM. Worked out OK and we actually had luggage in baggage claim once we got there. I would have put money on never seeing those bags again, or at least not for a week or so.
I'm totally exhausted and my head is splitting wide open. I'll never leave home again without my migraine medicine. I thought about it once when packing but never managed to get it in my bag. I've definitely learned my lesson.
At the moment, I'm just thankful to be home safely and will all my belongings.

Sorry neither Mom or I could come keep you company. I hope the rocking chairs helped.

Yeesh!
And I suspect you could have driven from NC to AL in something under thirteen hours, too.

Do you get headaches when there is a low-pressure system? I call them my Hurricane Headaches. A constant dull throb that is like a sinus headache but not in the sinuses.
We've had three or four straight days of clouds and drizzle, but nothing shows up on the radar so you can't tell when it will end! It's how I picture the Dementors in the Harry Potter books....

It was definitely more like a sinus headache. If had to bend down for anything, the pressure was almost unbearable.
Over the 13 hours, I took 4 Benadryl Sinus tablets and two Advil. By the time I got home, the headache had eased off. It wasn't completely gone, but it wasn't unbearable.
Now that I'm home, the sun is out and I have no headache. Hallelujah!!

I'm glad that you arrived home safely and I am sorry about the headache.
