In reviewing the English translation of the lease, I found this scary-yet-humorous clause in the lease:
Yikes.2.2. The LESSEE asserts that it shall not use the property for activities different than the office of the company ..., for the development of project activities that will take place in the city of [redacted] and especially asserts that it shall not allow that any illicit activities such as those referred to in paragraph b) of paragraph of article 3 of Decree 180 of 1988 and article 34 of Law 30 of 1986 take place in it, it undertakes to refrain from using the property object of this contract to hide as a depository for weapons or explosives or money of terrorist groups or contraband or allowing the processing or storing and selling of drugs or hallucinogenic drugs and related substances. The LESSEE undertakes to refrain from keeping or allowing the storage in the leased property of flammable or explosive substances threatening its safety, and in case there is a contagious disease within the property, the LESSEE shall bear the disinfection costs ordered by the health authorities.
