Marty Pasetta dead at 82
Variety reports TV director Marty Pasetta died in a car accident last night in California at age 82. He directed the Oscar telecast for 17 years, and game shows in the 70s like Celebrity Sweepstakes, Wheel of Fortune, and Blank Check. His company created the US game show Catch Phrase which was more popular in the UK than the US.
