Robert sensibly rules out ESP and the Holy Grail, which have nothing to do with NASA. If he had thought about it more, he may have figured out that finding Amelia Earhart 23 years after he plane went down could be sad for her family, but not catastrophic. But plenty of 1950s sci-fi movies dramatized the dangers of extraterrestrial life.

Q1: Latin doesn't help here. It being a modern-age real phobia does help my right guess.


Q2: NASA wouldn't be interested in A, C or D.


Q3: Cubes don't roll so easily, but this is way weird.


Q4: Am old enough to have lived through "you can get high on nutmeg" fad of 60s. Learned then that it would take a way-lot amount (I wasn't interested anyway).


Note: Yes, I know palpitations aren't being high, but back then almost any body-changing reaction was considered a form of high by some.
