Here's the scoop:

Life in Pieces - A family with lots of problems; imagine Modern Family on CBS. Dianne Wiest and James Brolin are the head of the family with several adult children.

Angel from Hell - Jane Lynch is be the guardian angel of an overworked, harried doctor (Maggie Lawson). Imagine a cross between Touched by an Angel and Mom, with Jane Lynch in the Alison Janney role.

Code Black - Life and death trauma cases in the world's toughest ER, headed by Marcia Gay Harden.

Limitless - Sequel to the Bradley Cooper movie. A guy taking the same mind-enhancing drug helps solve crimes for the FBI. In the meantime, Cooper will appear occasionally as his character from the original film, now a US Senator with presumably sinister political aspirations.

Supergirl - The DC comic.

Mid-season: Criminal Minds Beyond Borders - an internationally set spinoff of the original series with Gary Sinise.

Rush Hour - TV version of the Jackie Chan/Chris Tucker film with actors you've never head of in those roles.

2 Broke GIrls, Mike & Molly, The Odd Couple, Person of Interest and Undercover Boss will return midseason (or sooner if other shows bomb out). My guess is that Person of Interest will wrap up its story in an abbreviated season, much as The Mentalist did last year.

Ted Danson will take his character over as a regular on CSI Cyber.
