George Zimmerman shot in Florida

LAKE MARY, Fla. —George Zimmerman was injured in a shooting in Lake Mary on Monday afternoon, according to Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell.
A witness said he was recording Monday afternoon as George Zimmerman was taken away in an ambulance after an alleged shooting in Lake Mary.
The shooting involved Zimmerman and another man and happened on Lake Mary Boulevard about 12:45 p.m., police said.
According to Bracknell, officers at the scene reported Zimmerman suffered a minor gunshot wound.
“He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” said witness Ricardo Berrare. "They actually backed up the ambulance next to his driver side so he could walk into the door."
Chopper 2 video showed a bullet hole in the passenger window the vehicle Zimmerman was in.

Later reports say he was shot in the face in a road rage incident. Nothing on who initiated the rage.

I heard that the shooter was yelling "I shot George Zimmerman. Call 911." Apparently the two have had previous altercations. I heard the shooter said George showed him a gun, or pointed a gun at him. Once again, we'll have to the the story play out to find out what really happened.
3 to 2 odds George skates.

Apparently he and the shooter have been feuding for some time. Zimmerman was apparently cut by a piece of glass from a bullet shot through his passenger-side window.

A prosecutor on Thursday upgraded the charges against Matthew Apperson to attempted second-degree murder. Apperson earlier had been charged with aggravated assault and battery for firing a gun into Zimmerman's car during a traffic run-in last month. Zimmerman had minor injuries.
