If you are watching this season's "The Voice", you are aware of current semi-finalist Sawyer Fredericks. Well, he hails from just a short bit over the bridge in the village next door. Today is his "Homecoming"...It's absolute insanity outside my front door...we live across the road from the Speedway, where they're holding the rally for him. Not really complaining, though, I wish him the best, hope he wins it all. Remarkably talented for a 16 year-old. Just imagine where he'll be at 26. Cars are parked all the way up and down my street and across from us in the big lot, where it's completely filled. Could've parked some in my driveway/yard but I wouldn't feel right making money off the kid. NBC crews were filming the homecoming for next week's show..wonder if my house will be on national tv if they show the general area of the Speedway where the event is being held? Noisy out there today, but what excitement for our little area!

I hope he takes it all. He's the only one this year I rooted for.

NBC hopes Sawyer takes it all as well it would seem. Singing position order from first singer of the night being a 1:
Sawyer: 10+6+9+6+(6+5)+(5+5)=52 for a 6.5 average (Pharrell)
Meghan: 9+11+4+4+(5+6)+(3+3)=45 for 5.625 avg (Blake)
India: 8+3+10+5+(1+4)+(4+4)=39 for 4.875 avg (Christina)
Koryn: 6+9+5+8+(3+3)+(2+2)=38 for 4.75 avg (Pharrell)
Joshua: 2+10+2+2+(2+2)+(1+1)=22 for 2.75 avg (Adam)
This week and last the singers sang twice each. Joshua is the only one with the wife & kid factor that made the difference last season in the final voting. Singers performing later in the show tend to have a voting advantage over singers performing earlier in the program.
NBC plays similar games on America's Got Talent and voters typically go along with the influence of the producers and the performing order.
