Scene: The Bored. Somewhere in the future.

Meet Beebs Prior...

Beebs Prior: We're lucky to be on the Bored. They say the war was terrible, that the rest of the internet was destroyed.
Our founders built this site to keep us safe, and they divided us into five forums to keep the peace. The smart ones,
the ones who value knowledge and logic, are in Erudite. They know everything and post everything they know.
Amity post family photos and nice things. They're all about kindness and harmony, always happy. Candor value
honesty and order. They tell the truth, even when you wish they wouldn't. And then there's Dauntless. They're
our administrators, our moderators, our police. I always thought they were amazing. Brave, fearless and free.
Some people think Dauntless are crazy, when they kind of are.

Beebs: My forum is Abegnation. The others all call us "BBs." We lead a simple life, selfless, playing the Bored games no
matter how long they stay pinned. We even reply to the Merrymen, the ones who don't fit in anywhere.
Everyone knows where they belong. Except for me.
Scene: Now that’s she has reached age 16, young Beebs takes a test to determine the forum for which she is best-suited.

She is placed in the middle of a political thread to see how she reacts…

…and realizes they are all the same!

After the test, her instructor gives Beebs the results.

Christie: You're different. You don't fit into a category. They can't control you. They call it DiBoredrgent.
You can't let them find out about you.

Beebs: And what if they already know?

Christie: Then you're already dead.
Beebs: That doesn’t make any sense.
Christie: Remember where you are.
Beebs: Oh yeah.
Scene: Everyone gathers at the sorting ceremony…

…they meet Erudite leader Silvercamaro (who is quite possibly evil)…

and Beebs makes her choice…

Scene: Now a member of the Dauntless forum, Beebs boards a train

…And jumps off to join her cohorts

Scene: In their first test, the new members are gathered at the edge of the forum…

to see if anyone will volunteer to jump into a hotly-debated political thread . Beebs volunteers…

…and away she goes!
Scene: After surviving the jump into the Ted Cruz for President thread, Beebs meets Marley, an instructor.

Scene: Beebs and the other rookies begin training...

… but we all know where her mind really is…

Scene: Later, Beebs and Marley get some alone time.

Beebs: Can I ask you something?
Marley: Sure.
Beebs: What's your tattoo?
Marley: You want to see it?

Beebs: It’s amazing. The forums. Why do you have all of them?
Marley: I don't want to be just one thing. I can't be. I want to be brave, and I want to be selfless,
intelligent, and honest and kind. Well, I'm still working on kind.

Scene: They agree their relationship should be “tit for tat.” After Marley shows Beebs his tat…
Beebs shows Marley her…

Scene: Beebs meets up with Silvercamaro, (did we mention she may be evil), who thinks Beebs is hiding her true self

Silvercamaro: The system removes the threat of anyone exercising their independent will. DiBoredgents
threaten that system. It won't be safe until they're removed.
Beebs: I’m no threat.

Silvercamaro: It's hard to let go. Forum before blood, it's an important ideal, but sometimes difficult to fulfill.
It goes against our fundamental human nature. But that's exactly the weakness we need to overcome.
Beebs: You think that human nature is weakness?

Silvercamaro: This whole plot is a weakness. Haven’t you been paying attention?
Scene: In a moment of clarity, Beebs discovers the real truth, and begins to cry.

Marley: Why are you crying? Is it because your mother was brutally killed in front of you?

Beebs: No
Marley: Is it because you live in a bleak dystopian society with no chance to enjoy life?
Beebs: No

Marley: What then?
Beebs: I just realized I’m signed to do three sequels to this turkey.
Scene: Beebs takes another test and uses her DiBoredgent skills to mask her powers.

She and the other Dauntless are given a serum…

…supposedly for “tracking” purposes, but is really for mind control as prescribed by the evil Silvercamaro.
Beebs and Marley are unaffected by it because they are hot and awesome.
Scene: Instead of overthrowing the government like the other Dauntless…

Beebs and Marley return to confront the evil Silvercamaro

Silvercamaro: Maybe you're not quite as "Dauntless" as you thought you were.

Beebs: You're right. I'm "DiBoredgent".
[Beebs plunges a hypo into evil Silvercamaro’s neck]

Scene: All hail the victors!

Beebs: We're like the Forumless now. We've left everything behind, but we found ourselves and each other.
Tomorrow we may have to fight again, but for now we'll ride the train to the end of the line. And then, we'll jump.
Scene: With the battle over, Beebs and Marley go on a Journey…

…and take the midnight train…

…going anywhere.
