I 've looked at it a few times and I got nothing. We could make Howard Beale from Howard Rollins + Edward Albee, but I don't see any other Oscar-winning roles we could make that way. Unless the connection is people who are mad as hell.

Well... we may have a first, ladies and gentlemen. A sitewide stumper. Even my Notorious Turkeys game ultimately got its theme figured out, but that was only after I dropped a load of clues in my comments. I could drop more clues on this one, but I'm starting to run dry in the clue department. Soon, I'll end up saying something that just gives away my theme.

My only other thought is that perhaps the Pastor cited Smiler for a different reason. We've been told that one of the names on the list bears a direct relationship to the Tangredi. And the Jimmy Durante clue directly references Smiler Grogan. Perhaps this was a way of saying that Durante is the name that has a direct relationship to the Tangredi?

Well, Durante is an anagram of Unrated.....

The reference to dropping clues might have to do with my idea of dropping letters from a name to get another one, but there's far too much wiggle room on that with some of these longer names.

If Jimmy Durante is the key, it might have something to do with a certain little known movie in which he had a key role.

Jimmy Durante is not directly connected to the title of the game. I only mentioned Smiler because he hadn't given any thoughts on the puzzle before today and everybody else was stumped.
