Happy Super Pi Day
In just under two minutes (probably one by the time I post, high school seniors will be finding out if they've been accepted to MIT.
If you are in New York City, gather around a park fountain today at 9:26 a.m. and with glow sticks in hand at 9:26 p.m. in an event organized by the National Museum of Mathematics

It appears that the log-on system for MIT is experiencing some issues - maybe too many are trying to check their status at the same time. I told my HS senior son that it's simply a test to see if he can program past the log-on errors to prove that he's worthy of going to MIT.
But for now, I guess we'll find out later.

Quick update: Glitched fixed. Youngest Jaybee son did not get admitted. Over 18,000 applicants for under 1,000 places.
Fortunately, his plan 'B' has been an already confirmed full-ride scholarship to the University of Tennessee.

For some reason the UT football program has been lax in contacting him.
