WWTBAM Bored

I was reading the J bored and it has been reported that the show will be renewed through the 2017-18 season with Alex as host.

Good. It'd be terrible to see J! go the route WWTBAM has taken with new hosts.

I can't imagine anybody else hosting J!-I'm not sure if anybody else could do as good a job as AT does. I hope when/if AT leaves, they don't go the BAM route and get a comedian/show biz type to host. That would kill the show fast.

Maybe they can holosim Alex Trebek to continue to host J! even after he dies.

Alex is contracted to stay with the show until 2018. Whether or not he does is up to Providence.

Besides, the syndicators need to show the local affiliates that he's going to be on there for a long time when they try to negotiate the next set of deals. Otherwise they might jump ship and go with Judge Judy.

I remember Art Fleming and can easily imagine someone like him hosting -- erudite, but at the same time warm and friendly.

We have Judge Judy at 4 and 4:30, network news at 5 and local news at 5:30, J! at 6, and Wheel at 6:30. A lot of times, we can turn the television off at that point. Pretty sorry state of affairs.

We get Millionaire at 11:30 a.m., but that's OK because SteelersFan has no interest in it.

Maybe Watson could take over.

When there was talk of Alex leaving after 2016, I'd read that Anderson Cooper was being discussed/courted as the next host. I think he has the right whatever it is.
