Friday's show is a great example of why the Plus One lifeline should go. She had no clue and he wasn't much help-at least he knew that all four of those cities are in South America, but not much else-and the last Summer Olympics was in LONDON, which is part of a different content.

As for the rest of her questions:

1. D is the only one that makes sense-but my uncle told me when I was a kid "Ain't ain't a word and you ain't supposed to use it."

2. C, final answer

3. C again.

4. ATA

5. easy-I wouldn't need a lifeline here (like she used 2 on!)

6. JTQ. I should try to find out what kind of tornado ours was-it will be 35 years on May 13th.
I'm just a game show nerd.

Process of elimination gives me tornadoes, but I dunno. Been a long time since I've seen Twister.

I was surprised that (a) the +1 was able to recognize that Caracas was north of the equator and (b) they couldn't identify Rio as the Olympics host.

A pity. Growing up in OK we heard about the various shapes of tornadoes.

Q4: G-d knows why I know about Mr. Tube-Sock, but I do. Maybe its the housemate long ago who loved the Chili Peppers & was sure I would to, though I did not. However I would have ATA'd to be sure.

Q6: I was going for skater tricks, actually, because they have half-pipes, so why not stovepipes? But JTQ.
