Stale mailing list

I got a piece of junk mail (from a charity I'd never heard of before) addressed to the previous resident.
I bought my house from him
in July, 1985.

Occasionally my father gets mail addressed to me (by middle initial) at the apartment we lived until I was 3 and my sister was born in 1973. It gets forwarded to him because he is now at a different apartment in the same building and the old apartment is now the building office.

Had you gotten on many mailing lists by the time you were three?
