1. Kanye West never heard of the Boneys, and wouldn't give a crap about them if he HAD heard of them, so he will not interrupt our ceremonies to tell us how Beyonce deserved one.

2. No long winded-speech from the head of the Academy explaining the nomination and voting process..the Boneys are a one-man organization, and the rules are simple: my top 10 favorite albums and top 80 favorite songs from 2014 are ranked and presented. Feedback is encouraged, and anyone with dissenting opinions may post their own list. End of rules.

3. We are most definitely NOT All About That Bass. We are speaking of course, about that damn song and NOT about body type, as we like bass, midrange AND treble and have no preconceived prejudices in that regard.

4. Taylor Swift was not invited to the ceremonies, and therefore there will not be 678 cutaways to show her awkwardly dancing and singing along to every song. Even if she happened to crash the party, she would not know 90 percent of the songs, meaning there would be a MAXIMUM of only 8 cutaways..

5. Even after all these years, we are STILL Ryan Seacrest free.

Excellent reasons, all, except I would not mind some Seacrest action in the presentation. He knows who he is and does not apologize. Like us.

I am rooting for the Jukebox the Ghost album you recommended, and several singles from it. I like them even better since they embraced how much they are just pure pop. Delectable.
