Last week NPR had several stories about Agatha Christie, including an interview with her grandson and a rare recording of her being interviewed. I believe reference was made to her being the best-selling author.

Leonard won the 2013 J! teen tournament, getting to the finals via a wildcard because the semi-finals that year had a game end with a three way tie on zero, and he had the highest score among non-winners in the semis. He also gave for his final J! response on day two of the finals "some guy in Normandy but I just won $75K", when he didn't have a lock tourney at the end of DJ! on game two of the finals.

I'm not sure I knew at the time that Leonard was running a victory lap before he actually won the race. I assume it must have been widely discussed at the time, but I thought people were just excited about his brashness and his huge afro. I guess Leonard hasn't learned his lesson about overconfidence.
