I'm not sure about that, but the earliest competitive acting winner still alive is now Olivia de Havilland.

The earliest acting winner still alive is Margaret O'Brien, who won the honorary juvenile award in 1944. Two earlier winners of the juvenile Oscar, Shirley Temple and Mickey Rooney, passed away this year.

Which means that the three earliest Oscar-winning actors ALL died in 2014!

Margaret O'Brien is only 77 so I think she's got a lot more years ahead of her.

George Kennedy is in the Mark Wahlberg version of The Gambler playing Mark's grandfather. He's on his hospital deathbed and is onscreen for about one minute, and I didn't recognize him until I saw the cast credits at the close of the movie.
