Observations August 13, 2014 - Janus-faced
Generally speaking, I'm not fond of the Janus-faced month of January, when a spate of warm days early in the month is usually followed by several zero degree (Fahrenheit) days, but in one way, it is a wonderful time as days grow noticeably longer every single day.
