Longtime CBS News Reporter and the last survivor of Edward R. Murrow's "boys" who helped him cover World War II. Hottelet was imprisoned by the Gestapo in Germany in 1941 for his reporting (supposedly "espionage"). Later, he was CBS's UN correspondent for 25 years, covering the Cuban Missile Crisis among other stories, until his retirement in 1985.
Age 97.
