TLAF Update (cross-posted from EFB) --
TLAF has moved to the skilled nursing side of her facility. She spent five days in the hospital in early December, then moved to skilled nursing for rehab. It looks as if skilled nursing will be her home for a while, if not for the rest of her life.
She's comfortable and has terrific care. It's all I could ask at this point. She is confused as to why she is there and such. I explain but she doesn't really remember.
The other day, however, she DID mention "your friends in the computer," so she does remember the Jipters/BBs.
In case I don't get around to sending out my Christmas/Hanukkah/Festivus/New Year's cards this year -- have a wonderful holiday season.
And thanks for all the prayers and vibes and good wishes you've sent TLAF (and us) over the years.
