The Western Michigan University Broncos play Saturday afternoon in Boise, Idaho against Air Force. That should be a fun game to watch. I hear Air Force has a very good offense-should score lots of points. But I'm rooting for WMU-they've never won a bowl game.

I know I was late in setting up the group and posting it to the Bored.

I did send an email to the 14 people who participated last year.

So far, only 6 people are signed up.

I honestly have no idea how good either team is since I don't follow CFB.... but I never pick Notre Dame.

I lost my 39-pointer. Stupid Arizona.

Today is a make or break day for me. I have my 31,37,38 & 39 (plus my 2) today for a total of 147 points.

Wow. I didn't get to watch the game, but congrats to the Houston Cougars erasing a 25 point deficit in the 4th Qtr. to win by 1 point (went for 2 and a win vs. a tie and overtime).

And I get 33 points, to boot!

Quick! Look! I'm in 1st place! Three games left.

Looks like Elwood and I could end up with a tie for 1st or 2nd.

Kusch is in the catbird seat though with over 100 points left.

I am starting to regret my refusal to pick Louisiana Tech on the grounds that when I was in college they were our main rival.

And it comes down to the final game. First place is between Kusch and I. It doesn't matter who I pick to win the National Championship. He picks right, he is first. He picks wrong I win and he could be as high as 2nd or as low at 4th.

Elwood can get 2nd, but not first. Lilclyde could get 2nd, but not first.

All the above is assuming my math and logic is correct.

I'm not sure who I want to win or who I think will win. It should be a good game. I'll probably pull for Oregon to win since they've never won the National Championship and Ohio State looks like they are lined up for next year to repeat with their new first string QB.

I'm rooting for Oregon because I think Ohio State won the championship a couple times under Jim Tressel-plus I'm not thrilled about hearing "defending champion Ohio State" all next football season.
