Quinn was twice named NHL Coach of the Year and coached the Canadian Olympic team to a gold medal, but his teams never won the Stanley Cup (runners up twice). I saw him play for the early Atlanta Flames as a very journeyman defenseman (when he actually scored a goal in a game once, the arena was shocked).
