WWTBAM Bored

I wanted to look up an old, old, old transcript... but I got an error message trying to bring up the homepage. All of my other Yahoo Groups seem to be working fine, so it's not a sitewide problem...

When I tried to use an old bookmark in my browser to get to http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/WWTBAM_Regulars/ I received an error message, but by going to https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/WWT ... lars/files I was able to get in.

If you are trying to get to PHOENIXBORED or any of it's later versions, the same new convention works (such as https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/PHOENIXBORED/files)

So I searched, but this morning going back 24 pages or more to find defined what you all were referring to just wasn't my cup of tea. Board Buddy Baseball League? Maybe. Something about sports, from the discusions. Yeah, somebody mentioned the Florida Marlins. Google says that's baseball, but calls them the Miami Marlins (more alliterative, & maybe true, too). Obviously, I am not the ultimate sports buff (or any kind, actually).

I'm not in it, but the BBBL is a fantasy baseball league some of the people here are in. The Miami Marlins are a baseball team that used to be called the Florida Marlins. And smilergrogan is not a Merry Man. He is a different person. Just trying to be helpful.

Seriously; I have no probs with people not signing onto the internet with info that would allow pervs to follow them home, to their real home. My problem is with people pretending to be multiple personalities so they can zing people they don't like from new, unexpected directions.


Its an lb trait to bring me up for ridicule in conversations I am unlikely to be in, because that's the kind of person he is. Since "smilergrogan" did this, I'm assuming "smilergrogan" is one of lb's many avatars. Its of course possible they really are another person who also likes to bash on people in conversations the people are unlikely to be in. But since I don't see this "smilergrogan" entity engaging in any real conversations, I will persist in thinking they're an lb persona.

In case you didn't notice I was in the colon thread, too. It's not all about you. We all make sarcastic remarks. Smiler is an entirely different person. Senses of humor make life easier.

Of course I noticed you were in the colon thread. With real input. And, ahem, hopefully, real output, unlike mine. I'm so dreading the rerun. Its messing up anticipation of a nice Thanksgiving before it. But I almost didn't bring up the whole thing, in anticipation of board jerk/jerks dumping on me (ah, the choice of words here).


We do all make sarcastic remarks, but for most of us those remarks get posted in the threads the remarks pertain to, they don't get placed somewhere unlikely (as in a conversation about the GC, whatever that is) so the remarker & their presumed cohort of admirers can have an additional snicker at the intended target without the target knowing. At least not immediately.


I do have a sense of humor; wouldn't be able to make sarcastic remarks without it, I don't think. But my sense of humor doesn't extend to me (or anybody else) being snickered at when we're not even "in the room".

I dunno. I was waiting to post a new thread whenever the "colon" thread and the "wee stinky" thread showed up one above the other. Just because the latent middle-schooler within me thought it was funny. Never happened though.

There is no rule on where one can post comments. And here's the thing, the GC comment wouldn't have been funny in the colon thread. Just saying. I did think it was funny.

If you have a problem with that, I'd suggest you take the 10 foot stick that's keeping your colon prep from working and go fuck yourself with it. You don't make the rules on this Bored anymore than I do. If you don't like what I have to say... and sister, you're one of the few who doesn't... then too bad so sad....

It's bad enough you have to jump my ass when I do make some snotty comment about you, let alone the times you broadside me when you were the farthest thing from my mind when I posted whatever got your corset in a tangle... but when you accuse other people of being me just because you think I'm the only person in the whole, wide, big old world who has a sense of humor (EARTH CALLING GHOST: EVERYONE DOES IT), that's totally unfair to them since they don't deserve to be compared to a dumbass like me (See what I did there? I've long since given up on trying to explain Merry Men to you, though I have no idea why your persistent paranoia towards them is directed solely at me since I'm far from the only one who uses them. You obviously don't read the movie promos posted here by someone other than myself that skewer lots of people on the Bored, including you Miss Special Snowflake, because you never speak up to accuse the "directors" of being mean old lb. And that surprises me since you seem to read everything that's ever posted on this Bored, since the only thing that brings you joy is ferreting out some real or imagined slight against your holier than thou self...
