I can just hear her -- "Thanks for bringing me to this smorgasbord, Mom! This is great! Yum. . . ymph ... gulp ... chew. . . I'll get to those toys in a few minutes! As soon as the food's all gone! This is so good! I love this time trials stuff! . . . Did I eat the food the fastest?"

Ha Ha Ha! I can see my brother's yellow Lab doing something like that-she destroys chew toys as fast as she can get them into her mouth.

It was not that yellow dog's fault! Those other dogs got to go first, but yellow dog had to sit there forever -- at least two minutes -- and he got hungry.
In the same situation, I would have done the same thing, and I have four degrees in obedience 'n stuff from the University of PetSmart.
