The Chase - Celebrity Edition

I finally watched The Chase's Celebrity Edition over the weekend. It originally aired on 11/11/2014. The celebrities were: Dean Cain (Superman on "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman"), Seamus Dever (Detective Kevin Ryan on "Castle") and Boris Kodjoe (from "Real Husbands of Hollywood").
Seamus Dever's performance was particularly noteworthy. It is really worth seeing for yourself. TitanTV indicates that this episode (11/11) will re-air twice on Tue, 11/25 and once on Sat, 11/29. Check your local listings.

Spoiler
Since this is a celebrity edition and the celebs are playing for charities, the Cash-Builder Round starts with $5k and they receive another $5k for each correct answer.
Seamus got 11 of 11 in 60 seconds, for a total of $60k. Dean Cain christens him "The Mini-Beast" for how he played the Cash-Builder Round. He then went 5 for 5 to bank it and qualify for the Final Chase (along with Dean Cain's $40k)
In their Final Chase Round, the pair started with 2, since there were 2 of them competing. In the next (1:24 of 2:00) Dean contributed 4 answers and Seamus contributed 10, with neither giving any wrong answers.
The final 36 seconds went as follows:
36 - Who was the U.S. President the day that man first walked on the moon? Seamus blows his first question by answering "Johnson." (s/b "Nixon")
30 - A caterpillar becomes a butterfly while in what type of protective silk casing? Seamus correctly answers "cocoon."
25 - A hex key is a six-sided tool best know by what trademarked name? Seamus rings in but then blanks and answers "cantaloupe," which Dean Cain had earlier established as his go-to answer instead of "pass." (s/b "Allen Wrench")
17 - The drug codeine is derived from what plant? Seamus correctly answers "the poppy."
12 - What's the only mythological creature among the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac? Dean rings in but answers "cantaloupe." (s/b "dragon")
5 - Every word in Pig Latin rhymes with what vowel? Dean and Seamus thought they were done and didn't pay attention to this question. Brooke repeated it in a little over a second. Seamus responded with "a" just after time had run out.
They finished 18 steps ahead of "The Beast."
During his "chase," the Beast fumbled on 6 questions. I don't recall ever seeing him play that poorly. Of those, Dean provided 2 correct answers, Seamus provided 3 and they both knew the 6th one. In his defense, the Beast knew he was under the gun and provided 2 wrong answers before Brooke had finished the question and a third before he had a chance to digest it.
Time ran out for the Beast at step 14. Contestants WIN!!!11
