Hey Fanny!

Have you noticed the little graphics VH1 Classic has been using in its idents at the top of each hour for the past month or so? I didn't realize it until about a week ago, but they are pictograms that spell out song titles. It was the one for Hungry Like the Wolf that first drew my attention to it, and ever since, I have been making sure not to miss them each hour. I've gotten The Reflex, Cars, Welcome to the Jungle, and A Horse With No Name so far, and was tickled to death that I finally figured out that the horseshoe and star was Lucky Star. I just need to see the shoe one again to figure out what the hell it's supposed to be....

Now if only they'd bring back Pop Show and All Star Jams, they might really give me a real reason to go through the effort of turning on the TV every morning and watching....

I haven't watched anything recently on Vh1C other than the ILT70's marathon the other day and Top 100 Songs of I think the 90's. And, honestly, when there are videos on Vh1 or Vh1C, it's generally really early in the morning when I'm on the computer or doing something else so I listen more than watch, glancing up occasionally.

I'll have to choose Vh1C tomorrow morning and pay attention to the beginning and the ends.

That's what I hate about how VH1C's changed over the past couple years. 4, 5, 6 years ago (Has it been 6 years since I got VH1C, Wow!) I used to watch that channel all the time whenever I was up, morning, afternoon, evening, or late night. Now, I can watch in the morning when I get home from work, but that's about it, because just about any other time they're gonna have some show or movie on that I don't care to watch.... thus undergoing the same dreaded change from showing videos to showing whatever the hell they want that killed off the real VH1 Channel and of course MTV before it. Now I have to turn on Music Choice when nothing else is on TV.... thank God it's finally baseball season!
