Buzzerblog is reporting that "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" is being revived by Fox. Jeff Foxworthy is also being reported to come back as host.

Any news about a BAM renewal for next year?

Haven't seen anything regarding BAM, looks like AYSTA5G is coming in to fill in the hole Utopia left.

Really? Is FOX so desperate to find programming that they're bringing back this show?

This might be a good time for me to dust off the TV pilot that I first proposed over 10 years ago: Steel Cage Deathmatch Mille Bornes.

Jeff Foxworthy dragging out a contestant's uncertainty and doubts vs. Terry Crews shouting and pumping his pecs...

I actually did like AYSTA5G, but I do agree the dragging out of the questions did make me want to scream at the TV.

I'd personally like to see Twenty-One make a comeback, but I think a snowball has a better chance with the devil.

I'd like to see them revive the original Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (phone game, fastest finger, hot seat, original lifelines and dollar amounts) instead of this game that bears the Millionaire name.

For the heck of it, sent in my info yesterday, got called today to do a quick over the phone interview. Basically it was similar to an interview with an AP for WWTBAM to see if you get the golden ticket to do an on camera interview. After about 5 minutes of talking, she said she liked my personality and would pass my info to the producers for further consideration and that they will be scheduling a Skype interview this week if they were also interested. Now I don't know if she was treating me like every girl I've met at a bar who claimed they would call me (or a Millionaire AP who sends you home without mentioning the on camera interview and that we'd get a post card), but let's see. I am optimistic about at least getting a Skype interview since I don't think she would've mentioned they were doing Skype interviews if they weren't interested in doing one.

They are looking for people nationwide, not just LA.

So when do we get to see the new version of 5th Grader? I've been re-reading some of my old posts about that show and I can't wait to watch this again.

5th Grader will debut at 8:00 on Tuesday, May 26th. NBC will debut the new season of America's Got Talent on the same night.

The new Fox game show Boom! will debut on Thursday, June 25.
