Seems Leno got in trouble for asking some guy, who used to play a gay guy on a soap, to give him his "gayest look".
Leno says it was stoopid and he was sorry.

I learned that in the elite FBI traning classes I took. J. Edgar Hoover himself personally taught me how to look gay and even let me wear some of his nylon stockings....

Ryan Phillipe was very good on "One Life To Life." He played Billy Douglas, a gay teen whose father was homophobic. I'm pretty sure that he was the first gay teen on Daytime TV. Now Erica Kane's daughter, Bianca, on AMC, and Lily and Holden's son, Luke, on As The World Turns are all mainstream characters who are openly gay.
