When a MAJOR CABLE NETWORK advertises on craigslist, how do they establish their bona fides? This doesn't pass the smell test for me.

Is there a shortage of military people who are good a trivia? (Okay, they say they want someone GREAT with trivia, but I don't believe that, either. Don't they mean "good" at trivia with "GREAT" TV personalities?) I would think they'd have no shortage of auditioners, without needing to pay a finders fee to someone else who make a referral.

They would be more credible if they said what show it is. According to the blurb, it must be an existing show if people have already won hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why would they be ashamed to say who they are?

Gosh, you probably would be skeptics about this one too.

That one seems legit. Professional twerkers have been featured by several acts I've seen at music festivals this year.

Tim H, thanks for posting these here whenever you see them. Your posts are among the ones I value the most on this board, so please keep them coming!

Right. And nobody else would be interested in complete strangers sending them twerking videos. :P

FYI, Tim's post is probably for The Chase, assuming GSN can be called a MAJOR CABLE NETWORK. This is the first time I've heard of them offering a $500 bounty for contestants. I'm pretty sure it's legit, but the show sends a lot of mixed signals about what they're really looking for. It's also strange that they don't say who they are, if they are proud of their show.
