A typical British homeowner should recoup his investment in just 338 years. Actually, IKEA's website says 8 years. And I used google.co.uk to find that out, and came across a Google doodle for Christoper Wren's birthday (it's already Monday in England).

IKEA famously sells this product? In the U.K.?

Unless they've got an early release of the Mr. Fusion, we can eliminate D. While I went with C as the most likely answer, I'd also have raised an objection that one couldn't really figure this out without knowing the rated power output of the product, since $9000 might buy a very high output gasoline generator or a low output wind turbine. And I'm afraid I've never heard of this famous product of theirs.

$500 or .07 Bitcoin
Either that's an old conversion, or bitcoin is way more volatile than I thought. It currently (5 hours later) converts to 1.3 Bitcoin.
