The President appointed an "Ebola Czar" yesterday. I wonder what that person is going to do when the two people who have Ebola get better.

His title should be Making It Look Like We're Doing Something Because The Media Has Scared The Shit Out Of Everybody And Has Them Expecting Us To Do Something Czar. But that might not fit on a business card.

So if he introduces himself as the new Ebola czar do people refuse to shake his hand?

West African countries where the deadly disease is rife, people have stopped greeting each other in the usual way. Instead, they’ve developed the “Ebola handshake” – crossing your right arm over your chest and tapping your shoulder.

You'd think the Surgeon General could cover this. However, that job has been vacant for over a year. (The Deputy Surgeon General is acting Surgeon General.) A year ago, the White House nominated Dr. Vivek Murthy, but he wasn't confirmed because of tweets like this that he sent in 2012:
Tired of politicians playing politics w/ guns, putting lives at risk b/c they’re scared of NRA. Guns are a health care issue. #debatehealth

It always warms my heart when politicians show how much they appreciate people who have the audacity to have an opinion....
