He was 91.

Ok, actually he still is. Alive and well, even (see the link below). But I figured this was the perfect day to have a little fun with the Curse of the Tangredi....

I was in tears laughing when I saw this header... especially when I was the one who said a few minutes ago that he's still very much alive.

Yeah, as soon as I saw your answer to that question, I knew what had to be done...

I guess opinions about what counts as a good April Fool's joke differ.

And here I was, ready to type out a wish that somehow, in the Great Beyond, Ernie and Ethel Merman could find the happiness that eluded them during their 29-day marriage.
I am about 25% sure of this.

If one doesn't read (or had not yet read) the game posts, it isn't very funny. I was upset.

Your cat has excellent taste in music.

I'm probably the last one who should be saying anything about bad taste on this bored, but posting deliberately fake obituary notices, as an April Fools joke or not, seems to me to be in exceedingly low taste and not in the slightest bit funny.

I had a somewhat lengthy post a couple of months ago about a recent Borgnine film appearance in which he seemed in very good shape for a man his age, and I appreciate the opportunity to see him in anything at this point.
