Fantasy football advice

I'll pose this week's conundrum and maybe we will have others in the thread down the road.

I have three running backs and two slots. I think our scoring system is standardish, though it bears mentioning that we get points for return TDs.

CJ Spiller (BUF) platooning with Fred Jackson, going against San Diego. He got a return TD last week.

Shane Vereen (NE) platooning with Stevan Ridley, going against Oakland. He's Questionable but that's probably just the usual Patriot injury list games.

Eddie Lacy (GB) my stud who has been studless thus far, going against a beast of a Detroit line. He got a concussion in week 1 but returned from it quickly. They didn't give him enough touches last week against another nasty defense (Jets).

Right now I am leaning toward Spiller and Vereen but it would suck to leave the big guy on the bench. I drafted Lacy at No. 2 and would hate to sit him. He does have three great matchups coming after this week, so there's that.

If it were me, I would start Lacy and Spiller. Even though Spiller's splitting carries, I think that offense is dynamic enough that he will score. I think Ridley will get the majority of touches this week. Lacy may have a tough line to run into, but he's going to get a lot of carries, and he's a good enough back to get a couple of long runs out of it.

Disclaimer: my dislike of New England football may have colored the above analysis.

I would definitely keep Lacy in your linup. Last week was a weird game with GB falling way behind early. Because of that, they abandoned the running game. I think that they will be more balanced this week and Lacy will see more touches. If they get a decent lead to protect, that could lead to a lot of second half carries.

You've convinced me! I will start Lacy - but I dunno which of the others. Maybe Vereen's shoulder really is tweaked.

All three stunk it up badly so it was moot. Even with two players still to suit up, I am already toast, and not looking at the scores again unless Cam Newton gets 50 points.
