If you think of the circumstances that evoke the "D'oh", it isn't difficult.

Never heard the term "deflagration" but "conflagration" is another word for fire, so I'd go with B.

Once again, the new lifeline demonstrates its tremendous value.

Hey, Big Rob and O.G., this isn't a Springsteen question; it's a dictionary question!

I wonder if the Simpsons writers watch SyndieBAM? I can't recall if there's ever been a reference on the show that would have helped Big Rob answer this question, but on this week's episode Homer tells Marge that the password to his fantasy football team is "annoyed grunt." 8)

I liked the rest of the theme of this episode, coming so soon after my cruise on the Schooner Stephen Taber. Captain Bowditch was surely named after Nathaniel Bowditch, a mathematician called founder of modern maritime navigation. Among the ships named for him is another schooner that the Taber's captain recently purchased. He plans an extensive refitting of the ship, after which it will be given back its original name, La Dona.
