When I came into work this morning the two employees who were already here complained that the printers weren't working. I checked and sure enough they were all offline (or the print server was). Unfortunately no one in the IM help desk area comes into work until 7:30, meaning that there was no way to solve the problem. It's been remedied now, but it was frustrating. If there's any benefit to the "highly efficient organiazation" that's taking over our IT management, it's that they say that they'll be available at all times, so a problem like this could be solved sooner.
