Job Dilemma Update

My doofus boss outdid herself today--she is now in all likelihood committing time and attendance fraud by claiming that calling into the office entitles her to claim credit for time worked and by claiming she is working full eight hour days when she isn't approaching that.

I am sooooo tempted to turn her in but ruining someone's life is not what I am about. Of course, if I become aware of a felony and fail to report it, I am committing a misdemeanor.

If the offer to leave still stands, I'm going.

Sounds to me that she is ruining her own life, and it's only a matter of time before her actions catch up to her. Turning her in can only benefit your employer. THEN you should go.

You will be much happier when you leave.

Quick! Get on the phone!

If that offer is not still there, create other offers.

Get away as fast as you can.

You should get away quickly if you can - this "doofus boss" has trouble written all over her. If she cavilierly treats time and attendance in this fashion there's no telling what other things she might do.

My next door neighbor, the EMT, was just fired last week for NOT ratting out his boss who was doing the same thing.
