Tonight's show is the season finale with I believe four shows of the 13 ordered for this season unaired, including an episode around 12/1 with WInk Martindale making a cameo to coincide with GSN's 20th anniversary. Onto tonight's show:
Spoiler
James Jeff and Jamie racked up $135K between their three cash builder rounds, with James going for the higher Beast offer and winning. Jeff got 12 out of 13 questions right in his cash builder round. All three made the final chase with a $175K bank. Out of 25 questions asked, 23 were answered right(most by James), one was wrong, and one was gotten right but not said by the player who buzzed in. With a three point head start, the team had a score of 26. Halfway through the Beast's attempt to beat 26, the Beast missed six questions and the team got all six right. THe beast then sort of gave up, answering questions too fast before he heard the whole question, and ended up with nine by the time time ran out. You won't see gameplay like this on the Chase too much by non-Beast contestants much if at all.

No GSN in my hotel. :( :( :(

Interesting. The Futon Critic indicates that they were renewed for 2014-2015 just 2 weeks ago. They still show the episodes running through September, with no indication of a show in December. My U-Verse schedule shows no new episode next week and the GSN website says tonight is the "Season Finale." I don't get why they'd cut the season short if they had enough confidence in it to renew it.

The Futon Critic says the show's status is "renewed through the 2014-15 season (the show's fourth of 20 episodes) on 8/21/14."

P.S. While on the GSN site, I noticed that they have a new version of "Minute to Win It." The host is

Thanks for the report. There are at least a couple errors in the above summary. James went for the middle offer, not the high offer. James got 12 right, not Jeff. All three players seemed above average for this show, which is unusual, since they definitely screen out a lot of the smarter auditioners. It seems a little disrespectful for the show not to give people's full names. I happen to know that James Holzhauer was the young guy who led the team to victory. He was at TCONA last month and he is the real deal.
