When I was laid off by Waste Managment in 2005, they provided me and others with a service (DBN, now Next Door Strategies) that would help us with our career search. Cecelia Rose was my 'counselor' during that process. She has now begun a series of YouTube video blogs. This is the one I got today (actually my first from her). I thought it relevent for me, but also maybe for some others here. I will go through her other blog entries as well.

This may have been aimed at me among others, so I watched it. It is good advice, but in my case there was a point at which I realized that trying to find a job in certain fields at my age was about as futile as trying to be a contestant on WWTBAM.

Maybe so, but the advice works for whatever you decide to try to do. Even if just trying to get a better deal on your next car purchase.
It was not aimed at anyone. And while I thought of you, I also thought of GSABC and his continuing quest for the better job. I'm sure there are others who aren't so open about their current situations. I just thought it a good watch. And yes, she is usually that animated in person.

I used to work for Waste (riding a garbage route was one of my fun facts for BAM auditions), if you took any enjoyable, CBT training or used online help, I may have been the author.
