Forty years ago today, President Gerald Ford was inaugurated in the wake of Richard Nixon's resignation. In my view, the Watergate scandal remains a signature triumph for the rule of law and for the power of the press. --Bob

It is sad how far journalism has declined since then. What Richard Nixon did pales in comparison to what Barack Obama is doing to the presidency, but the media ignores it. Nixon only threatened to use the IRS against his opponents, Obama has done it and continues to do it, and his coverup is working. 18-1/2 minute gap vs hundreds of 'missing' emails. Nixon fired the special prosecutor assigned to Watergate, we can't even get congress to appoint one to look into the IRS fiasco.

That was a big "Win" for the country. Everyone wore those silly pins.
<that was sarcasm for those that can't figure it out. Well, not the "silly". That was not scarcasm.>

If you want to see how far journalism has declined, just look at Fox News which continues to report your Tea Party buddies' wild speculations as gospel truth.
