My buddy Frank and I took this afternoon off and came over to my house to watch the Yanks open their 2008 season.

Rainout.

Grrrrrr.

Instead we watched the Royals/Tigers.

Wasn't quite the same, although it wasn't a bad game. We were looking forward to watching our beloved Bronx Bombers, and had talked about taking an afternoon off to watch opening day for a number of years, and finally did it.
