top o' the mornin'®

'Twas a placid weekend in Rivendell - no major projects, no demands on time, just the opportunity to relax and enjoy the time. I accompanied elwing on a shopping jaunt - one of the malls was having a sale on "winter" items and she wanted to look. She ended up buying four shirts for me (always a nice thing to have) and some things for her at Coldwater Creek, where she had received gift cards for Christmas. All in all it was a rare weekend, and all the more enjoyable for that.

I love retail shopping therapy.
Especially when it involves all sales.

Coldwater Creek is having a killer sale. I got some really nice things last weekend for about 70% off. Of course, there stuff is bascially overpriced to begin with, but it's nice to not feel like you're over paying for something.

elwing really likes Coldwater Creek, and the store where she went was also having a sale (maybe it was a chain-wide event). The clothes are sized for her and she likes the styles and colors. She picked up two blouses and skirts in spring colors that are quite lovely.

They do have nice things and more for women our age.
I see my typo now in my last post. Drives me crazy. Spell check doesn't pick it up when it's a real word! Their clothes is more better than
there clothes. Sheesh!

I, too, love Coldwater Creek. Their clothes seem to suit me. I am wearing one of the tops I got from them today.
I never buy things at full price. Between the coupons in all the magazines and the sales, there is no need. I want to get there this weekend but couldn't. They recently opened a store in my area. Very tempting.

I'm wearing a lovely lavender blouse that I purchased there on my last visit. Our store is relatively new here, as well. If I recall correctly, the retail price on the blouse was $68.00 and I paid $12.99.
I got it several colors!
