It wasn't even digested. Sorta like Merv's mouse that wasn't eaten last night by the door. Protein heaven.

This reminds me of a lucky break we caught Monday. There are about 4 million kids in town for a Christian leadership conference (OK, about 400), and one of them threw a hot dog into a shrub along a path that I regularly walk the dogs on. Casey grabbed it and ran behind the shrub where I couldn't reach her and take it away. I love my smart doggie, and sometimes I wish she weren't so smart. Anyway, sometimes an unexpected snack like that gives her what our old vet called garbage gut, but she didn't get it! Whew!

Dot is telling you not to ruin those tasty sausages by adding the peppers, next time.

Well, here's the thing. We didn't put peppers with them...I'm assuming they're peppers from some other random food pickup. Or maybe internal body parts. I dunno. She's okay, though.
