RIP Martha Hyer

This happened a couple of weeks back but I just learned of it. She was an actress who usually played secondary leads in A movies (as the girl who didn't get the lead) and leading roles in lower end films. Hyer's first big role was William Holden's fiancée in Sabrina and she received an Oscar nomination for Some Came Running. After her retirement from film in the 1970s, she fell prey to a rather unusual addiction: she became a shopaholic and had to sell off some her husband's rare art work to raise money to pay off loan sharks.
