Family of Mentally Disabled Woman Sues Wal-Mart
Apparently, store security thought the woman was trying to stuff hair ties into her pants and abscond with them. When she couldn't provide them with an adequate explanation (she has the mental capacity of an 8-yearold), they called the cops, who handcuffed and arrested her. It turns out she bought the hair ties earlier in the day and had a receipt for them and the suspicious bulge in her pants was her cell phone.
Quoth Mecca:
It's good to know that Mecca keeps an eagle eye out in case someone is trying to make off with some hair ties.
