Ratings for the week of May 26 showed Jeopardy (featuring Julia Collins run) beating Wheel of Fortune for the second time ever and first in ten years. I'm not that familiar with the timing of Jeopardy seasons, but the week of September 13, 2004 (the last time the show beat Wheel of Fortune) may have been when Ken Jennings returned to the show after the summer hiatus and obvious increase in publicity occurring over that period.

Summer hiatus ended the previous week. This was Jennings's second week back (though it was the last regular-play shows taped before the hiatus). --Bobsilverscreenselect wrote:Ratings for the week of May 26 showed Jeopardy (featuring Julia Collins run) beating Wheel of Fortune for the second time ever and first in ten years.
