THe baseball Bob Welch died almost two years to the day the Sentimental Lady singer Bob Welch died(singer died 6/7/2012)

He was 27-6 in 1990 and is still the last pitcher to win 25 games in a season.
And in addition to Sentimental Lady he had a hit with Ebony Eyes.
