I in fact have a travel-towel that is so threadbare it's almost no use as a towel by now. Of course, that's why its my travel-towel; because it's so thin! but still soft, not scratchy like something that started out thin on purpose. I have forgotten it on occasion & had to use campground paper towels. Mr. Adams knew whereof he spoke.
Of course, to avoid future dental bills, a toothbrush is a really good don't-forget too.
