Anybody played this yet? Damn kids brought it home from school-It was the fad there for a couple weeks,
I figured out how to win consistently(get to the 2048 level)-but have not gotten to 4096-I have come very close.
The trick is
keep your high tile in the upper right corner and quit immediately if you lose that corner. And NEVER go down-unless you absolutely have to.

I've gotten the 4096. I've even simultaneously had the 4096 and the 2048. But I'm still working on getting the 8192. --Bob

I've got the trick down and have hit 2048 a couple of times. Usually get hit by having to scroll down and seeing one of those damn 2's pop up next to my high numbers on the top row.
The whole trick is 3 directions only, 2 is better.
Youngest son has hit 4096 more times than I can count (he's the type who does those old-fashioned slide tile puzzles in just a few seconds)
My biggest complaint though is that with the game on my Iphone, as soon as you are stuck the screen goes away. You don't even get a second to look at your high score and the layout.

A couple of kids at school made a version with teacher's photos. Apparently there is a template. It was kind of funny.
