A call from New York

I just got a call from Millionaire. They want another Skype interview with me. At least they know I'm still in the Contestant Pool. --Bob

I posted about it last August. They told me they'd lost the video from my Las Vegas audition and wanted to do another video interview via Skype. The AP I spoke to ended up not being able to figure out how to make it work on her end so my interview was audio-only. She carefully assured me throughout the process, though, that I am, and remain, in the Pool. --BobTheConfessor wrote:That sounds like a good omen. If they want "another Skype interview," are you saying that there was a previous one? What were the circumstances? I didn't know WWTBAM did Skype interviews. Good luck!
That's a great sign that you're still actively under consideration!Bob78164 wrote:I posted about it last August. I have Skype loaded on my phone and a screen name. I hope I can figure out how to use it when the call comes in. --Bobmacrae1234 wrote:Finally a shark in with all the little fishes and a reason to watch even if it's only for an episode. Good Luck my friend
When a call comes in it should just popup and ask if you want to answer. Then you're live. Call me if you want to test; I'm bob.juch.Bob78164 wrote:I have Skype loaded on my phone and a screen name. We had a nice conversation, which fortuitously dropped (on his end, not mine) just as he asked me a question ("I don't know if you remember what you said on your application -- what's something you do that makes people laugh?") that left me at a loss for words. He called back on my regular phone and said that the five minutes of conversation he already had were enough. He said nice things, and that he's passing the interview along to his supervising producer, and that I might hear from them in a couple of weeks. Taping starts late June or early July.
I'm cautiously optimistic, but (as we lawyers say) the settlement isn't final until everyone's signed. Wish me luck! --Bob

if you are like me my partners laugh at some of my bridge auctions and say things "like I want the hand you were bidding" but seriously in your bridge milieu you must have bridge stories about who you played or how you played that are humorous to bridge players but greek to outsiders.what's something you do that makes people laugh
