Which you probably all got from J!, those who care.

I'm pretty bummed out that Tom Cubbage & Leszak P. are both playing against Brad Rutter. I hope one of them beats him, but he's got the more youthful reflexes going for him here.

(The bummy is that I met Mr. Cubbage long ago on BAM, where he beat me, so I'm rooting for him, & he used to be on this board; Leszak P. also used to be on this board, with sightings more recent than for T.L.C., so I'm rooting for him too. But they both can't win the same night.)

I'm pretty bummed out that they have to play each other in the semis, too. Better than playing KJ there anyway. KJ is tonight; I will be very surprised if the people he is against are not dead meat.

Jennings vs Rutter should be interesting.

We already saw Jennings & Rutter get beat by Watson-the-IBM-computer. I should look up who came 2nd to Watson; that's probably who'll win this one.

I just did look it up; Jennings came 2nd, but he didn't beat Rutter in every round of this match.

We also saw them (and Jerome Vered) in the finals of the Ultimate Tournament of Champions. Rutter won that one.

And you know how "Grand Slam" went.

Yes, but I don't see your point. Ken and Brad did not face each other in Grand Slam. Ken had a pretty easy path to the final. Brad lost a close second round match to Ogi Ogas, who ultimately lost to Ken. I would not draw any conclusions from that. There's a lot of luck involved.
