I am just old enough to remember seeing some episodes of The F.B.I. first run.

The FBI episodes still hold up well today if you can accept the Hoover-friendly political views and Zimbalist's Jack-Webb style of acting in the role. Zimbalist was still in his 40s when the show went off the air, but for some reason he never got another shot at a starring role on another TV series. It was pretty much just occasional guest appearances here and there. His most notable role since the show went off the air was as the voice of Alfred the butler on some of the animated Batman TV series.
That's Ted Knight very briefly with the machine gun and Robert Duvall as the other bad guy.
